Fans are certainly going to be excited when The Hunger Games: Catching Fire comes to theaters November 22.
However, if you’re a true fan, you probably aren’t waiting until the film comes out to show your love. You’re probably already showing your allegiance to the film through beauty; ranging everywhere from the Capitol residents’ flamboyance to the more down to earth and practical Katniss Everdeen.
Geek girl fashion has been in existence ever since the beginning of geekery, but as of late it’s become mainstream partly in thanks to The Hunger Games series. During the first Hunger Games media blitz, beauty company China Glaze created a special line of Hunger Games “Capitol Colours” nail polish. This time around, Cover Girl has created their own “Capitol Collection” cosmetics line. In light of those two collections–and the amount of beauty tutorials inspired by The Hunger Games film series, here’s a list of 13 of the best Hunger Games tutorials out there.
There are tons of tutorials on YouTube, but these have made the list because they’re 1) quick and to the point, 2) highly informative and 3) creative. Some of the tutorials also have instructions by the film stylists themselves. So, without further ado, let’s get to it.
