Boasting the highest basic cable ratings ever, AMC's The Walking Dead series was a shoe-in to be included in this year's PaleyFest event in Beverly Hills, CA, at the classic Saban Theater. Pop Culture Geek was there to capture the creators and cast as they discussed how the comic book was adapted for television and what they have in store for season 2! For example, the long debated suggestion that Merle will become "The Governor" from the comic series was finally addressed by director Frank Darabont and creator Robert Kirkman and the cast provided deep insight into what motivates their characters to persevere in a world where the biggest threat to your life might not be the shambling hungry corpses that surround you, but rather the living and breathing person trying to survive right along with you.
