Below you'll find the new trailer for Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great and Powerful, which was just unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Here’s a synopsis of the film taken from Disney UK’s YouTube page: “When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.”
Since becoming a part of the public domain, L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has been re-imagined several times; some of them have been great, while others, not so much. After watching the trailer, I believe Raimi’s film will be the former rather than the later. What do you all think?
