The two collector’s editions of Irrational Games’ Bioshock Infinite will offer gamers several attractive items that appear to be a few steps above the typical, cheaply made Collector’s Edition fodder.
The Ultimate Songbird Edition will set you back $149.99 and includes the following: a 9-and-a-half inch Songbird statue by Robb Waters (System Shock, Thief, creator of Bioshock’s Little Sisters), a Murder of Crows Vigor Bottle Opener, a 5×7 lithograph from Veteran Irrational Games concept artist Jorge Lacera, a Handyman resin-cast figure from the upcoming Bioshock Infinite board game from Plaid Hat, various downloadable content (attire, themes, etc.) a digital version of the game’s soundtrack and an art book with conceptual imagery from the game with commentary. While that’s quite an impressive haul, the hefty price tag might be too steep for some. If you would like some extras but cannot afford to go full Songbird, there will also be a $79.99 Premium Edition that includes all the previously mentioned items aside from the Waters statue.
You will be able to get all three flavors of the game – Premium Edition, Ultimate Songbird Edition, Just the Game Edition – on February 26, 2013. Will you be going the normal route or picking up one with extra toys too fragile to play with?
