At a special showcase set up prior to the opening of E3 on the show floor, Nintendo showed off the latest in their line up of games for the Wii U and 3DS game systems.

They made more than a few die hard Nintendo gamers’ dreams come true with the reveal of Super Smash Bros for the Wii U and 3DS. Included this time around, along with the usual contenders, is Villager from Animal Crossing, Mega Man and, oddly enough, the Wii Fit Trainer, which comes with her own set of hilarious and healthy moves. Along with Super Smash Bros, Nintendo gave us a taste of Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, and Pikmin 3, a new HD version of The Legend of Zelda, the Wind Waker, and a new Legend of Zelda game for the 3DS called A Link Between Worlds. Shigeru Miyamoto and a number of the lead developers from the other games represented spoke about the new offerings and what the fans can expect.
