Exclusive Rick Remender Q&A – Uncanny Avengers and Captain America Writer

A few weeks back (hey, how were YOUR holidays?) we got to sit down at the Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach, CA, to film a conversation with Marvel Comics writer Rick Remender. He's best known for his work on Uncanny X-Force, Secret Avengers, and his controversial run on the Punisher, where he turned the gritty vigilante into Frankencastle. He's also the creator of Fear Agent, the highly acclaimed independent title that he started with a number of then unknown but now fan favorite artistic talents, including Walking Dead co-creator Tony Moore.

Here he talks with the Comic Bug’s own Mike Wellman about his current work on Marvel’s relaunch of Captain America and the new book, Uncanny Avengers, which brings together a number of X-Men and Avengers onto one team in the aftermath of the Avengers Vs X-Men mega-crossover event this past year.

There’s also mention of Captain Dingleberry. ‘Nuff said.

NOTE: Strong language warning for the verbally squeamish.

Get Captain America #3 at your local comic shop today and Uncanny Avengers #3 on January 23rd.
