It's not everyday a NASA space shuttle comes to your town. That's probably the reason why most of LA and surrounding areas pretty much came to a grinding halt wherever the Endeavor swooped overhead on the way to its final touchdown at the Los Angeles International Airport. We were lucky enough to get a special spot with a beautiful vantage point to watch it descend, even if we didn't see it touch down. Our photographer, Alex, caught those final moments from across the street in the official viewing area.
How do you feel about NASA mothballing the shuttle program? Do you think we should continue with manned space exploration with newer ships or should we let robots do all the work?
