This is the week we've been waiting for! The Geek Mecca opens its doors today at 6pm on and PopCultureGeek.Com will be there. You can keep checking back here each night for a wrap up of the day's events and, if you're really impatient, you can keep track of every big event and announcement at the Con by following us on Twitter either by adding us to your updates or by following right here on the home page of the site (hey, look at that to the right). We will be updating information as we get it, all day, every day. Some of it important, some of it not so much... but all of it will pretty much give you a feeling for what makes the San Diego Comic-Con International the must-see, must smell, must do event of the year!

So sit back, click refresh over and over, and pretend that you’re in a land far, far away, surrounded by thousands of sweaty, oddly dressed people and way too much overpriced merchandise (not necessary if you live in Las Vegas).
