I've been telling people for days now that they should expect the iPad version of Geek #5 to appear sometime within a week AFTER the official print on-shelf date of February 5th. But even I was surprised when I got word that it was available NOW! And our amazing design team has once again knocked it out of the park! And they did it more than a week early! If you haven't already been prompted, you should grab your iPad and start downloading it now.
Also, if you haven’t already, make sure you have the latest version of the app downloaded as well. It contains a number of bug fixes and features that will let you download new issues in the background and it should prevent you from being told to pay for the latest issue if you’re already a subscriber.
And for those of you who don’t use an iPad to read Geek digitally, don’t worry. The digital editions of Geek #5 will be available through Zinio, Google Play, Nook, and Amazon Kindle by the official release date on Tuesday, February 5th.
This issue is special because it links to the full, unedited and uncensored Star Trek Summit discussion featured in the magazine. At over an hour and 45 minutes, you’ll get to hear our Treksperts explore corners of the Star Trek universe never before revealed. Broken into 4 digestible parts, watch for the videos to be available starting Monday, February 4th.
Hey, now you have something to do between commercials during the Super Bowl this weekend!
