Welcome back to the Weekly Comic Pull List! Let's take a look at this week's slate of upcoming issues, as well as a few of my picks for the week of Mar. 13th, 2013.
Marvel
As expected, the first issue of the epic Avengers event that is supposed to change the Marvel Universe started off with a bang. I wouldn’t expect anything less from the next issue, which will continue to explore this unique team of survivors in the new Age of Ultron. Bendis has been building up to this event for a while, and a lot of the teasers coming out from Marvel have been raising a number of questions. After seeing the final page of the first issue, this is easily my Marvel pull of the week.
Alpha, inarguably the greatest super hero of his or any past and future time, has been restored to power by the Superior Spider-Man!He’s saving damsels in distress! He’s leaping tall buildings! He may have accidentally murdered someone! Wait…what?! Josh Fialkov & Nuno Plati (Amazing Spider-Man) reunite for the tale of the next great hero!
Time to pay the piper… or the psychopathic lizard girl. Black Widow and Hawkeye stand in judgment for the sins of their pasts.Spider-Woman caught in the middle.Natasha don’t drink that, it’s–! …Uh-oh.
The F4 travel back to ancient Rome and dine with Caesar on the Ides of March.Did somebody say, “Pass the knife”?

This month will be full of some pretty dark stories across the Bat titles as the Bat family deals with the repercussions from the death of Damian Wayne. This issue sees Bruce dealing with his son’s death, which is sure to put him into a pretty sever downward spiral, which always makes for some great bat stories. Harper Row will also be featured in a backup story, which may be important as she is one of the leading candidates to take on the legacy of Robin. While I will be picking up all the bat titles, Snyder and Capullo’s take on Batman continually makes this my DC pull of the week.
Based on the hit videogame Batman: Arkham City! A mob of criminals lays siege to a church to capture Mayor Sharpe. With Batman nowhere to be found, will Azrael save the day?
