Welcome to the new world of Hollywood where almost every movie is either a remake, reboot or sequel. Now join our panel of geeksperts as they discuss their favorite (and least favorite) recent remakes and reboots from Batman Begins to Star Trek while also offering advice for films that demand to be rebooted, remade and revisited in the very near future from Galaxy Quest to Space:1999 along with an audience poll of the property they’d most like to see remade. From the creators of the legendary Starship Smackdown, as featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered,” comes our exclusive Wondercon Smackdown spin-off, Supreme Geekspert’s Court: Sci-Fi Movie Smackdown. Help our judges rule as we definitively deliver a verdict on the greatest sci-fi movie of all-time. Battling it out for the smackdown crown will be such classics as Forbidden Planet, The Wrath of Khan, 2001, Planet of the Apes, The Matrix, Serenity and Zombies of the Stratosphere (um, maybe not) among others. The votes will be tallied, verdicts will be delivered. Presiding over the Geekspert’s Court are the Honorable Ashley E.
