Sanrio recently held a one day Pop-Up art exhibit event for the release of its new art book, Hello Kitty, Hello Art! at Known Gallery in Los Angeles, California. The one-day exhibition featured art pieces from contemporary artists such as POSE, Shepard Fairey, Kenton Parker, RISKY, DABS MYLA, and more. On display were Sanrio character inspired pieces that included prints, paintings, sculptures, and mixed media works.

Hello Kitty herself was on hand to welcome visitors of the art show which also featured a Pop-Up shop that sold event themed prints, t-shirts, and books. Some of the prints are available exclusively through Sanrio.com

Adam Wallacavage created the striking chandeliers, named Hello Kitty 2012, which hung overhead.
The gallery displayed many of the same Sanrio themed pieces that are featured in the book, which was complied by Roger Gatsman. The book is currently available through stores such as amazon.com and other retailers.
