The novel follows Ig Perrish, a 26 year old who awakens from a night of drunken debauchery to find a pair of horns on his head, just as everyone around him feels compelled to tell him the absolute truth and their deepest secrets. Soon, Ig finds himself uncovering the truth behind the rape and murder of his girlfriend – for which he had been accused and acquitted of – as he learns more about the people and events of his hometown in New Hampshire.

Hill’s novel is fantastic, nuanced and deeply disturbing, and we’re interested in seeing how Aja (who’s directed films such as The Hills Have Eyes and Piranha 3D) will interpret the book, and how well Radcliffe (The Harry Potter series, The Woman in Black) will carry the central role of Ig.

There’s no official word on when the film will open to a wider audience. A rumored date of October 11th has appeared, only to be frequently disputed by Hill. Hopefully, we’ll see Horns in a theater soon!
