When the Batmobile pulls up in front of any building, you know something important is going on. But when that Batmobile comes with Batman himself, Adam West, and that building is Meltdown Comics in Hollywood, CA, it's a confluence of awesomeness that can only be described as Bat-tastic!
Junk Food Clothing Co brought together celebrities, fans, and industry icons to show off their latest product line, based on the classic 1966 Batman series, starring Adam West, that evening’s guest of honor.
Attendees were treated to free gourmet cupcakes, Batman themed cocktails distributed by Catwoman costumed servers, and the chance to get photographed as Batman and Robin scaling a high rise with the bat-rope. Fans and celebrities alike lined up to meet Adam West and have their picture taken with him, including Jim Lee (DC Comics co-publisher), Rumor Willis (90210), Chris Daughtry (American Idol), Colin Donnell (Arrow), Antonio Sabato Jr (Femme Fatales), BooBoo Stewart (Twilight), Katherine Webb (Miss Alabama), and uber-Bat-fan Ralph Garman (The Joe Schmo Show, Family Guy), just to name a few.
Also on display were samples of Mattel’s upcoming Classic Batman action figure line, with everything from Barbies to a specially packaged Batusi figure depicting the grooviest dance moves ever performed by a caped crusader.
The new Junk Food Clothing Classic Batman line is available now at the Meltdown comic shop in Hollywood and online at their official site.
