As part of this year's third annual pre-E3 presentation, Konami finally revealed the man behind the voice and the face of Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: "24" actor Kiefer Sutherland.

At an event celebrating the 25th anniversary of Konami, Metal Gear Solid director spoke with friend and movie producer Avi Arad (X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man) about possibly using a Hollywood actor in the role of Snake for the new game. Arad naturally suggested Kiefer Sutherland, who is known for his hard edged portrayal of Jack Bauer on Fox’s “24″ television series.

Set in 1984, when Snake is 49 years old, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain takes both the story and the visual design of the game to a level not seen before in the series. If you’re not interested in learning more about Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, you can skip ahead to the Metal Gear Solid V part at 10:30.

But if you keep watching, you’ll get an extended look at the new Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 game and a side of Dracula that you’ve definitely never seen before at the very end of the video. Trust me, it’s worth checking out.

Watch for more news from Konami coming out of E3 next week.
