Just how obsessed with the Assassin’s Creed franchise are you? Ubisoft hopes the answer to that question is “enough to dress like one, sir.” They, along with the UK-based Musterbrand, have created an extravagantly priced, 11-piece clothing line inspired by Desmond Miles and his forefathers.
Musterbrand is known for producing apparel of a higher quality than your typical video game-related merchandise. Rather than being comprised of the usual t-shirts emblazoned with logos, the AC Collection boasts a finely crafted cardigan, wool & knit jackets, hoodies and more. There are logos; however, aside from the white hooded sweatshirt with the giant Assassin’s Guild sigil, they are subtle. It’s nice to see most of the gear is sleekly designed and not meant to simply be a marketing tool for the games.
Musterbrand will only ship to specific countries in Europe, Asia and Australia. If you, like me, are a US citizen desiring to get your hands on the stuff, you’ll need to use Google’s Currency Calculator and find a Pen Pal generous with their time. Those extra hoops are worth jumping through for the ability to play Assassin’s Creed III (out next week) while wearing this incredibly sweet AC DNA Coat, though.
