The highly anticipated prequel to the best selling Arkham series has released a new teaser, revealing another new villain to the series.
During Comic Con we saw a trailer that revealed a new version of Copperhead, one of the mysterious 8 assassins who will be trying to take out the Dark Knight in Batman: Arkham Origins. This new trailer not only reveals the Batcave and Alfred for the first time in the series, but it also showcases almost all the previously revealed villains of the game, culminating in the reveal of Firefly.
As if we need any more convincing to be excited for this game, after briefly witnessing what is sure to be a truly awesome fight scene between Batman and Deathstroke. The addition of Garfield Lynns AKA Firefly will offer not only a new villain, but a new type of battle as we take to the skies. Firefly has plagued Batman since he first appeared in 1952, a pyromaniac criminal with a penchant for arson. He was previously seen in the Arkhamverse on a newspaper clipping in the first game, Arkham Asylum. His new look shares an updated retooling the other villains received, and is sure to offer a unique boss battle to rival what we’ve already seen.
Firefly joins Joker, Black Mask, Penguin, Mad Hatter, Bane, Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Copperhead, which makes for quite a large rogues gallery to deal with. We will also be seeing an interesting multiplayer feature known as Invisible Predator, which offers an asymmetrical battle that features Batman and Robin, facing off against the user controlled gangs of Joker and Bane.
