The issue is a Comic-Con tease and doesn’t really offer anything but a few new glimpses at Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch and some action poses out of Hawkeye and Black Widow. The photo’s do include a shot of both Whedon at work as well as a promotional photo of all the Avengers’ suits hanging-up in wardrobe. Look for our first look at some footage, more photos, and the possibility of Ultron himself (James Spader) when Marvel takes to the stage of Hall H at Comic-Con on Saturday, July 26th. A brand new plot synopsis has also been released and reveals the role in which Ultron will play and what has carried over so far from Phase II of the MCU franchise.

SPOILERS AHEAD…

“For better or worse (trust us, it’s worse), his Tony Stark has devised a plan that won’t require him to put on the Iron Man suit anymore, and should allow Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the Hulk to get some much needed R&R as well. His solution is Ultron, self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence designed to help assess threats, and direct Stark’s Iron Legion of drones to battle evildoers instead…Ultron (played by James Spader through performance-capture technology) lacks the human touch, and his superior intellect quickly determines that life on Earth would go a lot smoother if he just got rid of Public Enemy No. 1: Human beings.”

The article also goes on to say that Ultron has the ability to upload himself to different places and recreate himself in multiple different forms. Some of these forms are bigger, stronger and faster than his first build so you know Ultron will be a formidable foe for the Avengers both physically and technologically.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron opens in theaters on May 1st, 2015
