The third season of STARZ’s fan-favorite series based on Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead franchise starring Bruce Campbell is just over a month away, but we have the first trailer to share with you, and a ton of other goodies, too.
The 10-episode Season 3 of Ash Vs. Evil Dead finds Ash’s status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead!
Check out the new Season 3 trailer for Ash Vs. Evil Dead below:
The new official trailer is full of bloody mayhem and a pitch-perfect need-drop from A-ha. It’s everything we expect from STARZ’s horror comedy based on Sam Raimi’s perennial bonkers franchise.
We also have an official poster for the show below, which showcases Ash firing down the mouth of an evil deadite in typical Evil Dead fashion. The stark simplicity of the design is what draws the eye in, making for an effective tease for the show’s return.
Ash And Candy’s Wild Night
Just before the trailer for Ash Vs. Evil Dead season 3 dropped, STARZ released another photo a drunken wedding from Ash’s past, an event tied to the arrival of his long-lost daughter. Since so much of the show has concentrated on the “here-and-now” it’s nice to see moments from Ash’s past, the times before all the Dead decided to act like a**holes. It’s been known for some time that season 3 would introduce Ash’s daughter and this photo of Ash and Candy definitely getting into things they might regret later is a candid, humorous tease of what’s to come.
Of course there are the returning cast members but season 3 of Ash vs. Evil Dead also bolsters a few newcomers, including Arielle Carver-O’Neill as Brandy Barr, Ash’s long-lost daughter left in his care when her mother meets an untimely demise, and Lindsay Farris as Dalton, leader of an ancient order called the Knights of Sumeria, who seek Ash to lead their fight against The Dark Ones.
Thanks to Evil Dead Italia, we have the first photo of Farris as Dalton.
Darker Things To Come
With the release of the Ash Vs. Evil Dead season 3 trailer, STARZ isn’t fooling around with other sneak peaks. One such example was an early still showing an SUV parked in front of the dilapidated Kenward County Sheriff’s office. Considering many interviews with the cast and crew have foreshadowed that season 3 would take the show into darker territory, that desolate shot of the SUV all but confirms just what kind of dire tone the Ash Vs. Evil Dead is taking for its third time out.
What’s To Become Of Ray Santiago?
Ray Santiago, the beloved Pablito from Ash Vs. Evil Dead, tweeted a link from his Instagram account that has fans wondering. Some speculated a movie announcement, others a season four renewal and one person even suggested that Pablo was going to get a spin-off. It could also be that Santiago has acquired another role with another project and is simply wanting to celebrate. The verdict is still out on this one but we’ve attached his Instagram post below.
The Brujo Is Strong With Pedro
Speaking of Santiago’s Pablo, STARZ tweeted out an image of the character getting his Brujo on. Armed with the Kandarian dagger, in the middle of the woods, our fan-favorite is looking to perform some kind of ritual in the midst of chaos. Fans of the show know that Pablo has had some bonding time with the “Book of the Dead.” According to Ray, “He has an undeniable relationship with the Necronomicon that will always be there.”

“Let the fans know that the Ghostbeaters are back and to stay excited,” Santiago said. “This season is going to leave them with their jaws dropping and there is something very special in store for them!”
“They’re the ones that have given the show success” he continued. ” It’s one of the best parts of my job to see the joy on the people’s faces when they get to meet the actors and the characters that they like. It’s one of the perks of my job.”
Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season Three will premiere Sunday, February 25, 2018, at 9 PM ET/PT and also be available for streaming or download on the STARZ app.
