Anyone who tells you to stop watching cartoons as an adult is not someone you need to have in your life. So, if you’ve been looking for the right time to break things off with your judgy friend Pete who you don’t really even like anymore (and who posts pictures of every single meal he eats, I mean come on!), now’s the time to do it. Boomerang, the channel that plays classic cartoons 24 hours a day, is launching a streaming service! Now, you can watch all the Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo you want without Pete breathing down your neck, telling you to turn off the TV and get a real job.

“Boomerang is a beloved brand that has always had multi-generational appeal and some of the greatest animated shows ever created,” said Christina Miller, President, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Adult Swim. “Our on-going partnership with Warner Bros. around this new premium service continues our strategy of making sure our fans are engaged with fresh and fun content whenever and wherever they want it.”

This is pretty great news if you’re getting tired of watching cartoons on weird, Russian websites all day. The world needs more cartoons right now, and for only $4.99 a month after a 7-day trial (or $39.99 a year including a free month), you can have unlimited access to Boomerang’s growing database of over 5,000 cartoons. In addition, the network is looking to expand some of their original programming and continue posting new episodes of Scooby-DooTom & Jerry, and Looney Tunes. When the service launches this spring, those shows and more will be exclusive to the Boomerang app, which is an even better reason to get on this as soon as possible.

Boomerang will be available on computers and phones this spring, with hopes to expand into Amazon, Roku, and Apple TV in the near future. Unfortunately, the service is only available in the US right now, but will surely start expanding once it takes off here in the states. For more info, check out the Boomerang website!
