Image Comics wants to celebrate its 25th anniversary by burying you in more comics than you can possibly read. Thank goodness they’re digital.

Image has partnered with Humble Bundle to offer what it says is more than $428 in comics for a fraction of that cost — with proceeds divided between Image and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, an organization devoted to equality for the LGBTQ community.

The highest level of contribution, $25 or more, unlocks everything, including Isola: Island of the Dead, signed by the creators. Image describes the book as “an epic fantasy from Brenden Fletcher (Motor Crush, Batgirl) and Karl Kerschl (Gotham Academy). The story follows two women on a quest to enter the underworld, seeking to undo a curse that turned one of them into a tiger.”

But the deals are significant at any contribution level. A mere dollar unlocks 10 first issues of popular series, including Jeff Lemire and Emi Lenox’s Plutona. At the five dollar level, you’re unlocking 10 more first issues, including Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips’ Kill or Be Killed. At the $10 level, it’s whole volumes of trade paperbacks, thus far 14, with a promise of more revealed shortly. So far, they include Casanova Vol. 1 (Fraction, Ba, Moon), Bitch Planet Vol. 1 (DeConnick, De Landro), Morning Glories Vol. 1 (Spencer, Eisma, Esquejo), Rat Queens Vol. 1 (Wiebe, Upchurch), Southern Bastards Vol. 1 (Aaron, Latour), and some Old Skool Image Comics in the form of Spawn Origins Collection Vol. 1 (McFarlane). Plunk down $15, you’re talking Chew Vol. 1 (Layman, Guillory), East of West Vol. 1 (Hickman, Dragotta), Sex Criminals Vol. 1 (Fraction, Zdarsky), and 10 more. For $20? Throw in I Hate Fairyland Vol. 1 (Young), Saga Book One (Vaughan, Staples), The Wicked + The Divine Book One (Gillen, McKelvie), and six more books that are on everyone’s “best of” and/or “to read” lists.

Seriously, this is so much content that you almost need a scorecard. Full list of books below (and, again, more to come in a couple days).

As usual with the Humble Bundle offerings, you get to choose how your contribution is allocated — some (or all) to publisher, some (or all) to charity. For more information on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation — the educational arm of America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer equality — go to http://www.hrc.org.
