The Flash

The famed speedster is about to get brick’d. LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash is the character’s first animated film in which the character stars in his Lego form. Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment and The LEGO group released the first trailer for the film and we have it for you below.

The Scarlet Speedster is front-and-center and sees Reverse-Flash manipulate the Speed Force to put The Flash into a time loop that forces him to relive the same day over and over again – with progressively disastrous results, including losing his powers and being fired by the Justice League. The Flash must find a way to restore time to its original path and finally apprehend his worst enemy before all is lost for The Flash… and the world!

Check out the first trailer for LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash below:

The trailer clocks in at just over two minutes but comes jam-packed with signature Lego goodness and a more baseline humor that we’re used to from the bigger-budgeted LEGO movies. The trailer establishes that the Hall of Justice is already up-and-running, unlike its live-action counterpart seen in Justice League. The trailer also suggests that the movie will follow a Groundhog Day narrative as it finds Barry stuck in a time loop he must escape.

LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash features a trio of vocal talent as James Arnold Taylor takes on the role of The Flash, while Kate Micucci voices Zatanna and Kevin Michael Richardson as Doctor Fate. The film also features some of the top voiceover artists in the industry like Troy Baker (Batman), Nolan North (Superman, Killer Croc), Grey Griffin (Wonder Woman, Lois Lane), Dwight Schultz (Reverse-Flash), Eric Bauza (The Atom, B’dg, Jimmy Olsen), Tom Kenny (Plastic Man, The Penguin), Phil LaMarr (Firestorm), Khary Payton (Cyborg), Vanessa Marshall (Poison Ivy), Dee Bradley Baker (Captain Boomerang, Aquaman), Jason Spisak (The Joker) and Audrey Wasilewski (Mayor).
