The Paley Center for Media has announced their lineup for the PaleyFest 2009, which is a series of panels that focus on classic tv and pop culture phenomenons with screenings and appearances by cast and crew at each event.
This year, the panels include:
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
90210
True Blood
Dr Horrible’s Sing Along Blog
Dollhouse
Big Bang Theory
The Mentalist
Desperate Housewives
Pushing Daisies (with unaired episodes!)
Battlestar Galactica/Caprica: A Look Back and a Look Ahead
The Hills
Big Love
Fringe
Swingtown (bonus final night event at the Paley Center)
I was lucky enough to catch the X-Files panel last year at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. Each of these will take place at the theater from April 10th through the 23rd. Tickets go on sale February 26th to members and March 1st to non-members. Even though it’s not uncomon for the tickets to sell out to members within minutes, this event is worth catching if you’re in LA and have the money.
I don’t know if I’ll make it to any of these events due to money limitations (even members aren’t guaranteed tickets), but I’ll try my best to cover as much of this amazing event as possible.
