This podcast is a very special one for me and Scott. Thankfully, when I ran into Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope director Morgan Spurlock few weeks ago at WonderCon, I had the presence of mind to ask him if he'd mind coming onto the PopCultureGeek Podcast. He graciously agreed and a few weeks later, we were able to record the Skype conversation you'll be hearing on the podcast linked below.

This podcast is a very special one for me and Scott. Thankfully, when I ran into Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope director Morgan Spurlock few weeks ago at WonderCon, I had the presence of mind to ask him if he’d mind coming onto the PopCultureGeek Podcast. He graciously agreed and a few weeks later, we were able to record the Skype conversation you’ll be hearing on the podcast linked below. Not to give too much away, but in it he describes not only what went into his decision to make the film and how they shot it, but he gives us a peek at what we can expect from him and the movie at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Hint: the official DVD launch with exclusive bonuses! If you’re a fan of Stan Lee, Joss Whedon, Morgan Spurlock, and Harry Knowles, you will want to listen to the podcast to learn what the most wanted exclusives at this year’s Comic-Con will be!

But that’s not all we have in this week’s podcast. We talk about the upcoming Captain America: the First Avenger auction held by Profiles in History and Marvel Studios at next week’s C2E2 convention in Chicago. We also discuss what you can expect from the new show Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 and movie Lockout starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace. We’re all over the board on this episode, but it’s a good one.

Just for the record:
Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope arrives in select LA theaters and Video on Demand EVERYWHERE on April 6th (and in New York starting April 13th). Check your local cable/satellite provider for availability, but if you get a chance to see the movie in a crowd of fans at a theater near you, please do it!

The Captain America: the First Avenger auction takes place April 14th at C2E2 in Chicago and is presented by Profiles in History and Marvel Studios. Go to the official Profiles in History site to pre-register if you want to bid online, by phone, or in person at the convention.

Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 premieres on ABC after Modern Family, April 11th at 9:30pm.

Lockout arrives only in theaters April 13th.
