We couldn't help ourselves. We just couldn't shut up. This podcast is easily our biggest ever at nearly 2 hours long, but it's a necessary Hulk-sized doozy that will prepare you for the summer and beyond!
This week we talk about two very different comic conventions coming to Las Vegas ON THE SAME WEEKEND (MorrisonCon and Las Vegas Comic Expo), which means if you love comics and can get to Vegas September 28-30, you’re in for a wide variety of comic convention goodies across 2 hotels within a single block. We also take some time to review some of the big summer blockbuster trailers we’ve witnessed this past week playing in front of the Avengers, which, now that Scott has seen the film, we can talk about with reckless abandon. Spoilers abound in this podcast, so if you haven’t seen the Avengers yet, I would skip everything after 56:52. But if you want to revel in the joy we felt in experiencing what I have repeatedly called the greatest superhero movie of all time (and many people seem to agree with me considering the record breaking $207.4 million weekend debut), please jump right to 56:52 and pretend you’re part of the conversation as we excitedly espouse what we loved and didn’t like so much (I can’t think of anything we hated) along with our thoughts on what the future holds for the Marvel movie universe. Feel free to interrupt us and shout us down if you disagree with our assertions from the comfort of your own home.
