The full trailer for Marc Foster’s World War Z has been posted online. Watch it below in all its glory and meet me afterward for more words.
There isn’t much here that wasn’t present in the Entertainment Tonight clip we posted a few days ago. You want to see more people running from the un-dead? It’s got ‘em. Care to catch a glimpse of the un-dead moving forward as though they’re pouring out of a zombie-spout? It has that as well. The full length trailer is basically what we saw in the aforementioned ET clip padded out with extra chaotic footage and more of Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) interacting with his family and a few peeks at the world-wide struggle. Oh, there’s also a few more crashes and explosions.
Even though the computer animated zombies are making me nervous, I’m still optimistic about the project. The cast has three of my favorite actors – Pitt, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale – and I love war stories that span the globe. I’m with ever other fan of Max Brooks’ original novel in that I wish the structure of the book was used in the film, though. What do you think?
