This is just so utterly perfect.

Colonel Chris Hadfield is about to come home from his time onboard the International Space Station, where he’s spent the last five months as an ambassador to planet earth. He’s a regular presence on Twitter, filming educational videos and sending back a ton of fantastic images of our home planet throughout his five month stay in space. Now, he can add up rock star to his resume before he’s back on solid ground: he’s filmed the first ever music video shot in space, covering David Bowie’s fantastic song ‘Space Oddity’.

We can’t think of a better song for him up in orbit. He’ll be returning home today, and will be replaced by cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov as Expedition 35 comes to an end. But first, can we can an encore?
