The 38th Annual Saturn Awards Brings Out the Sci-Fi Stars

It was a star-studded night in the hills of Burbank, where the 38th Annual Saturn Awards presented accolades to extraordinary achievements in the realm of sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and "genre" films and television. Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Super 8 each took top film honors with 3 awards each. Breaking Bad and Fringe took home the most awards in the television categories. Special awards were presented to Frank Oz, James Remar, Drew Goddard, Robert Kirkman, and the Simpsons. Even the comedian Jeffrey Ross received a special appreciation award upon his 10th straight year as the event host.

Geek was there backstage to capture the event as the awards were presented to a who’s who of geek celebrities.
