The CW Scores Big with Arrow, Pilot Now Streamable Online

The ratings are in and The CW’s Arrow is quite a hit. According the The Wrap, it was the network’s most watched show since the premiere of The Vampire Diaries, which first aired three years ago. If you are one of the few people who managed to miss Arrow, you may now stream the full episode on The CW’s website.

For those unaware, Arrow is an adaptation of the DC Comics character The Green Arrow. In this re-imagining, billionaire Oliver Queen, Arrow’s secret identity, returns home with a mysterious mission after spending five years on a island. Previously, Queen/Green Arrow was portrayed by Justin Hartley on The CW’s Smallville; this time out, Stephen Amell, whose abs you’ve seen prominently on display in the show’s marketing campaign, is the man slinging the arrows.

I missed the series last night, so I’m thrilled to have a chance to see it without a price tag or waiting period attached (those one month waits for new episodes of White Collar on Hulu are painful). I send props to The CW for posting this online so quickly.

Did you get a chance to check out Arrow? If so, what did you think?
