Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for their adaptation of Pat Mills and Tony Skinner’s Accident Man. Scott Adkins stars as Mike Fallon, the Accident Man, a high-class assassin whose life changes the day his ex-girlfriend is murdered. A stone-cold killer whose methodical hits baffle the police and delight his clients, the Accident Man is the best at what he does, but now Fallon is forced to rip apart the life he knew in order to hold those accountable and avenge the one person who actually meant something to him.

Adkins, who was recently seen in Doctor Strange, joined the cast just over a year ago when production was just getting underway. Known as a sort of perennial action star, who can also be seen in films like The Expendables 2, Adkins is a solid choice for the VOD title based on the popular UK cult comic character. The film also stars Ashley Greene, Michael Jai White, Ray Park, Ray Stevenson, David Paymer, Nick Moran, Perry Benson, Ross O’Hennessy and Amy Johnston.
Accident Man is adapted from the character that originally appeared in the now defunct monthly UK comic Toxic! by Pat Mills and Tony Skinner in the early 1990s. Mills is behind another popular comic character you might know, Judge Dredd.
Directed by Jesse Johnson, with a screenplay written by Adkins and Stu Small, Accident Man is currently set for a DVD and digital release on February 6, 2018.
