20th Century Fox is building the hype around Alien: Covenant by releasing a batch of new TV Promos that feature some brand new footage from the Ridley Scott sequel.

Each of the three promo shots, titled ‘Run’, ‘Hide’, and ‘Pray’ evoke the more horror-centric element Scott and company are going with for in this return to the world of Alien. We get one new glimpse of the titular alien xenomorph, and image that invokes the wet tanker environment of the first 1979 film. These ads continue with the marketing onslaught that has come out of the film that dates back to the first theatrical trailer, followed by the first appearance of the xenomorph in the second trailer, original featurettes based on the characters, a faux-commercial about Michael Fassbender’s Walter character, and a H.R. Giger inspired official poster.

Check out all three new promos for Alien: Covenant below:

The ‘Hide’ spot shows us the most new footage out of all of them, including an unknown creature that may be a not quite adulthood Xenomorph, or perhaps something more native to the planet:

In the ‘Pray’ spot we get our best look yet at the aforementioned titular alien. It’s face is front-and-center, allowing for any ardent fan to study it closely:

*UPDATE*

A brand new promo (longer than the other three) was revealed by fans who noticed a hashtag during the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament. #emohemkat on Instagram led to a viral account with only one post…An extended spot featuring new footage including hints at to the fate of a certain character from Prometheus. All set to a creepy rendition of John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads

Check it out below:

Katherine Waterston’s Daniels discovers a dogtag hanging from the ceiling of somewhere, this shot has appeared in other footage before, but this time we can read the name Dr. E. Shaw, the same character Noomi Rapace played in Prometheus. It’s been long rumored that Alien: Covenant would at least hint at what became of the final two “survivors” of the spaceship Prometheus and the longer TV spot has confirmed that rumor.

If that wasn’t enough, 20th Century Fox’s UK sources have released a new exclusive poster. The new image features Katherine Waterston’s Daniels coming face to face with the Xenomoph, done up in Alien’s traditional color scheme. Alien: Covenant will premiere early in the UK, with a general release on May 12, a full week prior to the United States.
