Disney just released the first teaser trailer for Incredibles 2. It’s been 13 years since we last saw the Parr Family overcoming their personal strife, growing as a unit, and, of course, saving the world. Brad Bird returns as both writer and director for the animated sequel, due out in theaters this summer!

Helen (voiced by Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voiced by Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet and Dash (voiced by Sarah Vowell and Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. All of this is made tougher since the family is unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain unleashes a brand new plot, the family and Samuel L. Jackson’s Frozone must suit-up and work together yet again to save the day.

Check out the Jack-Jack-centered teaser trailer for Incredibles 2 below:

The trailer is a short one, showing Jack-Jack testing out some of his newfound powers, including being able to phase through walls, turn himself into a human flame, and generally hulk out. The biggest reveal is his ability to shoot laser beams from his eyes, which he then uses to carve out the sequel’s updated logo. Incredibles 2 will pretty much pick up just where we left off in the first movie, as the family faces off against The Underminder before taking off from there. It’s a quick teaser but it sets up the excitement for a sequel to one of the best-animated films of the last two decades.

In addition to the first teaser trailer, Disney also unveiled the official poster for the film:

There are also a couple of new additions to the cast as both Catherine Keener and Bob Odenkirk have been confirmed for unspecified roles. With the proposal that the movie will show off 25 new heroes to the Incredibles‘ universe, chances are good that both Keener and Odenkirk are probably playing one of these new supes.

Originally supposed to be released in 2019, Incredibles 2 was pushed up to June 2018, switching spots with Toy Story 4, which is now slated for June 21, 2019.
