Deathbomb Arc record label owner and Foot Village member Brian Miller recently launched a short documentary online about the haunted maze in the backyard of Los Angeles artist Albert Reyes. It’s the first in a series of documentaries Miller is putting together on the folk art of backyard haunted houses.
Reyes currently is a featured artist in the Giant Robot Bienalle 3 at the Japanese American National Museum in downtown Los Angeles. It runs through January 20 of next year. His exhibit there includes another haunted house, as well as a plethora of his other artwork. As you’ll see in the video below, Reyes is one interesting dude. The creepiest part about the documentary is how little it actually shows of the haunted house, leaving it up to the viewer to go check it out.

And here’s a bonus video from Miller’s band, Foot Village, who are hard at work on their fifth album.
