The 66th Annual Emmy Award Winners!

The 66th Annual Emmy Awards took place Monday night and Breaking Bad went out with a bang, coming out as the big winner of the night.

Seth Myers took to the stage at the 66th Annual Emmy Awards and efficiently brought the broadcast in on time. There was a notable tribute to Robin Williams, serious love for all things cable, and a few surprises here and there.

Breaking Bad ended its monumental run on television last night by winning Emmys in every major category including Best Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Actor, Writing, and Drama series. While of course, there were notable snubs such as Netflix’s Orange Is The New Black, and HBO’s Game Of Thrones, the only other notable title was FX’s Fargo, which cleaned up the Best mini-series Emmy and directing, though nothing for acting.

The ceremony started out rather routinely with past winners taking to the stage again. In fact, the comedy section of the 66th Annual Emmy Awards were by far the most predictable. Though let’s not undermine when Bryan Cranston laid a mouthful on Julia Louis-Dreyfus in humorous remembrance of their Seinfeld days.
